R&B vocalist Wilbert Harrison was created in 1929 in Charlotte, NC. He previously been making information for a number of little labels because the early 1950s, but never really had popular. That transformed in 1959, when he documented “Kansas Town”–created by famous songwriting group Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller–and it reached #1 over the R&B graphs. Harrison toured in a variety of R&B and rock and roll shows and continuing to record. In 1969 he previously a return of kinds when he documented “Let’s INTERACT”, which he also composed, and it visited #32 over the pop graphs. He kept saving and touring in to the 1980s, but didn’t talk with very much success. He ultimately still left the music business.
